Creamy Italian Chicken

Ingredients
- 2 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- ¼ cup butter
- 1 (10.5-oz) can cream of chicken soup
- ½ cup chicken broth
- 1 (0.7-oz) envelope Italian dressing mix
- 1 (8-oz) block cream cheese, cubed and softened
Instructions
- Cut chicken in half crosswise and pound to an even thickness between plastic wrap using a meat mallet.
- Melt butter in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat; add chicken, and cook 5 to 6 minutes per side or until browned and done. Remove from skillet and keep warm.
- Reduce heat to medium. Add soup, broth, and dressing mix to skillet; stir until blended. Add cream cheese; cook, stirring occasionally, until blended and thoroughly heated. Serve chicken and sauce over pasta.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 2 (8-oz) pkg thin green beans
- 2 Tbsp butter, melted
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 (9-oz) pkg refrigerated fettuccine
Side Dish Instructions
- Steam green beans according to package directions. Season with salt and pepper, if desired.
- Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain, and return to pot. Add butter and pepper; toss.
