Flank Steak and French Fry Skillet

Ingredients
- ½ (32-oz) pkg frozen French fries
- 1½ lb flank steak, very thinly sliced
- 1 Tbsp Montreal steak seasoning
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 poblano peppers, thinly sliced
- 1 (8-oz) pkg chopped onion
- 2 Tbsp minced garlic
- 1 (28-oz) can fire roasted diced tomatoes, drained
Instructions
- Prepare fries according to package directions.
- Meanwhile, sprinkle steak with seasoning. Cook steak, in 2 batches, in hot oil in a large cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat to desired doneness. Remove from skillet, and keep warm.
- Add poblanos, onion, and garlic to drippings in hot skillet. Cook over medium heat 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper, if desired. Add tomatoes; cook 2 minutes. Return steak to skillet; cook just until thoroughly heated.
- Stir in fries. Or toss steak and peppers with fries in a large bowl.
