Sweet and Sticky Steak Bites
Mashed Potatoes and Cinnamon-Sugar Carrots
Ingredients
- ¾ lb (2-inch-thick) boneless beef sirloin steak, cubed
- 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 Tbsp soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp honey
- 2 Tbsp packed brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp pepper
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Combine steak and all remaining ingredients except oil in a large zip-top plastic bag; seal bag, and refrigerate at least 8 hours .
- Remove steak from marinade, discarding marinade. Cook steak in hot oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat 3 to 4 minutes per side or until cooked to desired doneness.
Side Dish Ingredients
- ½ (16-oz) pkg baby carrots
- ½ Tbsp lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 1 tsp cinnamon sugar
- ⅛ tsp salt
- ½ (24-oz) pkg refrigerated mashed potatoes
Side Dish Instructions
- Bring carrots and water to cover to a boil in a medium saucepan over high heat; reduce heat, and simmer 10 minutes or until tender. Drain.
- Meanwhile, combine lemon juice, butter, cinnamon sugar, and salt in a large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave until butter melts. Add carrots; toss.
- Heat potatoes according to package directions.
