Sweet and Sticky Steak Bites

Mashed Potatoes and Cinnamon-Sugar Carrots

Ingredients

  • ¾ lb (2-inch-thick) boneless beef sirloin steak, cubed
  • 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • 2 Tbsp packed brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Combine steak and all remaining ingredients except oil in a large zip-top plastic bag; seal bag, and refrigerate at least 8 hours .
  2. Remove steak from marinade, discarding marinade. Cook steak in hot oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat 3 to 4 minutes per side or until cooked to desired doneness.



Side Dish Ingredients

  • ½ (16-oz) pkg baby carrots
  • ½ Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp cinnamon sugar
  • ⅛ tsp salt
  • ½ (24-oz) pkg refrigerated mashed potatoes

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Bring carrots and water to cover to a boil in a medium saucepan over high heat; reduce heat, and simmer 10 minutes or until tender. Drain.
  2. Meanwhile, combine lemon juice, butter, cinnamon sugar, and salt in a large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave until butter melts. Add carrots; toss.
  3. Heat potatoes according to package directions.
