Pork with Creamy Mustard Sauce
Buttered Peas and Mashed Potatoes
Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp butter
- 2 lb boneless pork chops
- 1½ cups heavy cream
- ¼ cup chicken broth
- 2 Tbsp Dijon mustard
Instructions
- Melt butter in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add pork, and cook 5 to 6 minutes per side or to desired doneness. Remove from skillet, and keep warm.
- Add cream, broth, and mustard to skillet; bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer until thickened. Serve sauce over pork.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 1 (32-oz) pkg refrigerated mashed potatoes
- 3 Tbsp butter
- 2 (12-oz) pkg frozen green peas
Side Dish Instructions
- Steam peas according to package directions; toss with butter. Season with salt and pepper, if desired.
- Heat potatoes according to package directions.
