French Onion-Bacon Dip

Ingredients

  • 8 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 (7.5-oz) bag wavy cut sea salt kettle cooked potato chips

Instructions

  1. Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crisp. Drain on paper towels, reserving 1 Tbsp drippings in skillet.
  2. Cook onion in hot drippings in skillet over medium heat until onion is browned and very tender. Remove from heat, and let cool.
  3. Stir together sour cream, mayonnaise, parsley, garlic powder, cooled onions, and bacon in a bowl. Cover and refrigerate up to 3 days. Serve with potato chips for dipping.
