French Onion-Bacon Dip

Ingredients
- 8 slices bacon, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 cup sour cream
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 2 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 (7.5-oz) bag wavy cut sea salt kettle cooked potato chips
Instructions
- Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crisp. Drain on paper towels, reserving 1 Tbsp drippings in skillet.
- Cook onion in hot drippings in skillet over medium heat until onion is browned and very tender. Remove from heat, and let cool.
- Stir together sour cream, mayonnaise, parsley, garlic powder, cooled onions, and bacon in a bowl. Cover and refrigerate up to 3 days. Serve with potato chips for dipping.
