Ingredients

  • ⅓ cup sun dried tomatoes in oil
  • ½ lb ground beef
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 slices mozzarella cheese
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 2 leaves green leaf lettuce
  • 2 hamburger buns, split and toasted

Instructions

  1. Drain tomatoes, reserving 1 Tbsp oil from jar. Finely chop tomatoes. Combine beef, Italian seasoning, and chopped tomatoes in a medium bowl; shape mixture into 2 patties.
  2. Cook patties in a large skillet over medium-high heat until no longer pink; top each with 1 slice cheese, and let stand until melted.
  3. Meanwhile, cook onion in hot reserved oil (from jar) in a skillet over medium heat 15 to 20 minutes or until very tender. Stir in vinegar, and cook 2 minutes.
  4. Serve cheese-topped patties, onions, and lettuce on toasted buns.

  • 10 oz frozen French fries
  • ⅓ cup ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • ⅛ tsp ground mustard

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Bake fries according to package directions.
  2. Stir together ketchup, vinegar, brown sugar, and mustard in a bowl. Serve with fries.
