One-Dish Dinner
Skillet Chicken Pasta
Five-Cheese BreadIngredients
- 1½ lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp garlic salt
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 1 (24-oz) jar marinara sauce
- ½ (16-oz) pkg penne pasta
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
Instructions
- Sprinkle chicken with seasoning and garlic salt. Cook chicken in hot oil in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat until browned.
- Add broth, marinara sauce, and pasta. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer. Cook, uncovered, 20 minutes, stirring often, until pasta is tender and sauce is slightly thickened. Stir in cheese.
- Meanwhile, melt butter in a small skillet. Add breadcrumbs, and cook over medium-high heat, stirring, until toasted. Sprinkle over pasta mixture.

- 1 (11.75-oz) pkg frozen five cheese garlic bread
Side Dish Instructions
- Bake bread according to package directions.
