Stuffed French Bread Philly Cheesesteak
Black Pepper Potato Chips
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 1 Tbsp Montreal steak seasoning
- 1 (14-oz) loaf French bread
- ⅓ cup mayonnaise
- 3 Tbsp whole grain mustard
- 2 cups shredded provolone cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Cook beef, bell pepper, and onion in a large skillet over medium heat until beef is browned and crumbly; drain, return to skillet. Stir in steak seasoning.
- Meanwhile, remove a V-shaped section from top of bread, and hollow out center of loaf. .
- Spread mayonnaise and mustard on cut sides of bread.
- Spoon beef mixture into bread loaf. Top with cheese; bake 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 1 (8.5-oz) pkg kettle cooked potato chips
- 1 tsp pepper
Side Dish Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Spread chips on a rimmed baking sheet. Bake 5 to 6 minutes or until chips are shiny. Sprinkle with pepper.
