Provolone and Onion-Smothered Patties
Mashed Potatoes and Steamed BroccoliIngredients
- ⅓ cup thinly sliced onion
- 1½ Tbsp olive oil, divided
- ⅛ tsp salt
- ⅛ tsp pepper
- ¾ lb ground sirloin
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- ¾ tsp Montreal steak seasoning
- ¼ cup less sodium beef broth
- 2 slices provolone cheese
- 1 green onion, thinly sliced
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450°F. Toss together onion, ½ Tbsp oil, salt, and pepper on a rimmed baking sheet; spread in a single layer. Bake 15 minutes or until tender and lightly browned.
- Meanwhile, combine beef, Worcestershire sauce, and seasoning in a bowl; shape into 2 patties.
- Cook patties in 1 Tbsp hot oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat 4 minutes per side. Add broth; cook 2 to 3 minutes or until done. Top with onions and cheese slice; cover and cook 1 minute or until melted. Serve patties with broth mixture.

- ½ (12-oz) pkg broccoli florets
Side Dish Instructions
- Heat potatoes according to package directions.
- Steam broccoli according to package directions. Sprinkle with pepper.
