3-Packet Roast
Cheddar Cheese Mashed Potatoes and Green Beans
Ingredients
- 1 (3-lb) boneless chuck roast, trimmed
- 1 (16-oz) pkg baby carrots
- 1 onion, cut into wedges
- 4 stalks celery, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 (0.7-oz) envelope Italian dressing and seasoning mix
- 1 (0.87-oz) envelope brown gravy mix
- 1 (1-oz) envelope ranch seasoning mix
- 1 cup chicken broth
Instructions
- Place roast, carrots, onion, and celery in a 5- to 7-quart slow cooker. Sprinkle seasoning and gravy mixes over roast and vegetables. Pour broth over roast.
- Cover, and cook 8 to 10 hours or until roast is very tender. Slice or shred roast and serve with vegetables and gravy.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 2 (8-oz) pkg thin green beans
- 1 (32-oz) pkg refrigerated mashed potatoes
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
Side Dish Instructions
- Heat potatoes according to package directions; stir in cheese until blended.
- Steam green beans according to package directions.
