Beef and Broccoli Lo Mein
Ingredients
- 1 (8-oz) pkg lo mein noodles (or use fettuccine)
- ½ (12-oz) pkg broccoli florets
- ¾ lb flank steak, cut into strips
- 1 Tbsp vegetable oil
- 6 Tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 Tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 Tbsp minced garlic
- ⅛ tsp crushed red pepper (optional)
- 1 Tbsp sesame seeds
Instructions
- Cook noodles and broccoli according to package directions.
- Meanwhile, cook steak in hot oil in a large skillet 6 minutes or until browned. Add hoisin, vinegar, garlic, and, if desired, red pepper. Cook 2 minutes or until slightly thickened.
- Add noodles and broccoli, tossing to coat. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
