Beef and Broccoli Lo Mein

Ingredients

  • 1 (8-oz) pkg lo mein noodles (or use fettuccine)
  • ½ (12-oz) pkg broccoli florets
  • ¾ lb flank steak, cut into strips
  • 1 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • 6 Tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 Tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp minced garlic
  • ⅛ tsp crushed red pepper (optional)
  • 1 Tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Cook noodles and broccoli according to package directions.
  2. Meanwhile, cook steak in hot oil in a large skillet 6 minutes or until browned. Add hoisin, vinegar, garlic, and, if desired, red pepper. Cook 2 minutes or until slightly thickened.
  3. Add noodles and broccoli, tossing to coat. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
