Cheesy Ham and Egg Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cubed French bread
  • 4 oz deli sliced low sodium ham, chopped
  • ½ cup shredded 75% reduced fat Cheddar cheese
  • 5 large eggs
  • ¾ cup reduced fat ultra filtered milk
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp dried thyme
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ⅛ tsp kosher salt

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle bread into an 8-inch baking dish coated with cooking spray. Top with ham and cheese.
  2. Whisk together eggs, milk, mustard, garlic powder, thyme, pepper, and salt in a bowl. Slowly pour over ham and cheese in dish. Cover, and chill overnight.
  3. Preheat oven to 350°F. Let casserole stand at room temperature 30 minutes.
  4. Bake 35 to 45 minutes or until center is puffed and set. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
