Pan-Seared Garlic Butter Steak
Mashed Potatoes and Brussels SproutsIngredients
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 Tbsp minced garlic, divided
- 1 Tbsp chopped fresh rosemary, divided
- ¾ lb boneless top sirloin steak
- 3 Tbsp butter, softened
Instructions
- Combine oil, ½ Tbsp garlic, and ½ Tbsp rosemary in a bowl; rub all over steak. Season steak with salt and pepper, if desired.
- Preheat grill pan or large cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Cook steak 6 to 7 minutes per side or to desired doneness. Let stand 10 minutes before slicing.
- Mash butter, ½ Tbsp rosemary, and ½ Tbsp garlic in a small bowl; season with pepper, if desired. Serve butter mixture on steak.
Side Dish Ingredients
- ½ (4.3-oz) pouch real crumbled bacon
- 1 Tbsp prepared horseradish
- 1 (12-oz) pkg frozen Brussels sprouts
- ½ (24-oz) pkg refrigerated mashed potatoes
Side Dish Instructions
- Cook Brussels sprouts according to package directions; sprinkle with bacon. Season with salt and pepper, if desired.
- Heat potatoes according to package directions; stir in horseradish.
