Ingredients

  • 2½ lb ground chuck
  • 2 cups chopped onion
  • 1 (15-oz) can beef broth
  • 1 (8-oz) can tomato sauce
  • 2 (1-oz) pkg taco seasoning mix
  • 12 individual-size bags corn chips or nacho-cheese Doritos
  • 1 (8-oz) bag shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 2 (8-oz) bags shredded fiesta-blend cheese
  • 1 (16-oz) carton sour cream
  • 1 (16-oz) container prepared guacamole
  • 1 (2.25-oz) can sliced black olives, drained
  • 1 cup thinly sliced green onions

Instructions

  1. Cook ground chuck and onions in a Dutch oven over medium heat until beef is browned and crumbly; drain and return to pan.
  2. Stir in broth, tomato sauce, and seasoning mix; bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer 10 minutes or until thickened.
  3. To serve, cut open chip bags, and fill each with desired amount of meat, lettuce, cheese, sour cream, guacamole, black olives, and green onions.
