Chocolate Crinkle Cookies

Ingredients
- ½ cup butter, softened
- 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- ½ cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 (4-oz) bars semisweet chocolate, melted
- 1⅓ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Beat butter and sugars in a large bowl at medium speed with a mixer until fluffy.
- Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Add melted chocolate, beating until smooth.
- Whisk together flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Gradually add to butter mixture, beating until blended after each addition.
- Cover and refrigerate dough 2 hours.
- Preheat oven to 350°F; line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Place powdered sugar in a small bowl.
- Roll dough into 1½-inch balls; roll in confectioners' sugar to coat.
- Place 2 inches apart on prepared pans.
- Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until surface of cookies is cracked and edges look dry.
- Let cool on pans 2 minutes; remove from pans, and cool completely on wire racks.
