Key Lime Pie
Ingredients
- 1½ cups crushed vanilla wafers
- ¼ cup packed brown sugar
- 6 Tbsp butter, melted
- 2 (14-oz) cans sweetened condensed milk
- 2 large eggs
- 2 egg yolks
- ¾ cup lime juice (see Note)
- ¼ cup sour cream
- 1 (12-oz) carton frozen whipped topping, thawed
- Garnish: lime slices
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Stir together wafer crumbs, brown sugar, and melted butter; press mixture into bottom and up sides of a 9-inch pie plate.
- Whisk together condensed milk, eggs, egg yolks, lime juice, and sour cream until smooth; pour into crust.
- Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until center is set. Let cool 1 hour.
- Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours or up to 4 days. Serve with whipped topping, and garnish with lime slices, if desired.
