Key Lime Pie

Ingredients

  • 1½ cups crushed vanilla wafers
  • ¼ cup packed brown sugar
  • 6 Tbsp butter, melted
  • 2 (14-oz) cans sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 egg yolks
  • ¾ cup lime juice (see Note)
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • 1 (12-oz) carton frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • Garnish: lime slices

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Stir together wafer crumbs, brown sugar, and melted butter; press mixture into bottom and up sides of a 9-inch pie plate.
  2. Whisk together condensed milk, eggs, egg yolks, lime juice, and sour cream until smooth; pour into crust.
  3. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until center is set. Let cool 1 hour.
  4. Cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours or up to 4 days. Serve with whipped topping, and garnish with lime slices, if desired.
