Mint Tea-Marinated Fruit Salad

Ingredients

  • 2 family-size tea bags
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 (1-oz) pkg fresh mint
  • 1 cantaloupe, cut into cubes
  • 1 honeydew, cut into cubes
  • 1 pint blackberries

Instructions

  1. Bring 4 cups water to a boil in a large saucepan; add tea bags.
  2. Remove from heat; cover and steep 10 minutes.
  3. Remove and discard tea bags.
  4. Whisk in sugar until dissolved; stir in mint.
  5. Cool completely; remove and discard mint.
  6. Combine cantaloupe, honeydew and blackberries in a zip-top bag.
  7. Add tea; seal bag, and refrigerate 1 hour.
  8. Strain mixture; skewer fruit, if desired.
