Mint Tea-Marinated Fruit Salad
Ingredients
- 2 family-size tea bags
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1 (1-oz) pkg fresh mint
- 1 cantaloupe, cut into cubes
- 1 honeydew, cut into cubes
- 1 pint blackberries
Instructions
- Bring 4 cups water to a boil in a large saucepan; add tea bags.
- Remove from heat; cover and steep 10 minutes.
- Remove and discard tea bags.
- Whisk in sugar until dissolved; stir in mint.
- Cool completely; remove and discard mint.
- Combine cantaloupe, honeydew and blackberries in a zip-top bag.
- Add tea; seal bag, and refrigerate 1 hour.
- Strain mixture; skewer fruit, if desired.
