Molasses- and Coffee-Glazed Ham

Ingredients

  • 1 cup molasses
  • 1 (12-oz) jar apricot preserves
  • 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup strong brewed coffee
  • 1 (6-lb) bone-in, fully cooked ham half

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Stir together molasses, preserves, vinegar, mustard, salt, vanilla, and coffee in a medium bowl.
  2. Reserve ¾ cup molasses mixture in a small bowl.
  3. Trim ham, and place, cut side down, in a lightly greased 13-x 9-inch baking dish; pour remaining molasses mixture over ham.
  4. Bake 1½ to 2 hours or until a meat thermometer inserted in thickest portion reads 140°F, basting occasionally.
  5. Heat and serve reserved ¾ cup glaze mixture alongside ham.
