Molasses- and Coffee-Glazed Ham
Ingredients
- 1 cup molasses
- 1 (12-oz) jar apricot preserves
- 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup strong brewed coffee
- 1 (6-lb) bone-in, fully cooked ham half
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Stir together molasses, preserves, vinegar, mustard, salt, vanilla, and coffee in a medium bowl.
- Reserve ¾ cup molasses mixture in a small bowl.
- Trim ham, and place, cut side down, in a lightly greased 13-x 9-inch baking dish; pour remaining molasses mixture over ham.
- Bake 1½ to 2 hours or until a meat thermometer inserted in thickest portion reads 140°F, basting occasionally.
- Heat and serve reserved ¾ cup glaze mixture alongside ham.
