Sausage and Pasta with Fire-Roasted Tomato Sauce
Green Beans and Garlic Bread
Ingredients
- 1 (12-oz) pkg bow tie pasta
- 1 lb ground Italian sausage
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 Tbsp bottled minced garlic
- 2 (14-oz) cans fire roasted diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- ¼ cup thinly sliced fresh basil
- ¼ tsp crushed red pepper
- 1 (5-oz) container shredded Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Prepare pasta according to pkg directions; drain and return to pan.
- Meanwhile, cook sausage, onion, and garlic in a large skillet over medium heat until browned and crumbly; drain and return to skillet.
- Stir in tomatoes and cream; bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer 7 to 8 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Add tomato mixture, basil and red pepper to pasta and toss. Sprinkle with cheese and serve immediately.

- 1 (16-oz) bag frozen green beans
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 1 (12-oz) loaf frozen garlic bread
Side Dish Instructions
- Cook green beans according to package directions. Add butter; season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Bake bread according to package directions.
