Cheese and Sausage Bagel Thin Melts

Ingredients

  • ½ lb ground lean turkey breakfast sausage
  • 4 Tbsp ⅓-less-fat cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup chopped green onions
  • 1 tsp hot sauce
  • ½ cup freshly shredded reduced-fat sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 4 whole-grain bagel thins, split

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Cook sausage in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat 5 to 7 minutes or until browned, stirring to crumble; remove from heat and cool 10 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, combine cream cheese, green onions and hot sauce; spread evenly over cut sides of bagel thins.
  4. Top evenly with sausage and Cheddar cheese.
  5. Bake 10 minutes or until cheese melts.
