Grill Pan Sirloin Steak
Warm Bean SaladIngredients
- ¼ cup balsamic vinegar
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 3 Tbsp pure maple syrup
- 3 Tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- ¾ lb top sirloin steak
Instructions
- Combine vinegar, oil, syrup, and soy sauce in a large zip-top plastic freezer bag; add sirloin.
- Refrigerate 2 to 4 hours.
- Heat a grill pan or cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat; sprinkle steak lightly with salt and pepper.
- Cook 8 minutes per side or to desired doneness.
- Let rest 10 minutes; cut into thin slices against the grain.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- ½ lb green beans, trimmed
- 1 (15.5-oz) can BPA-free dark red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1½ Tbsp apple cider vinegar
Side Dish Instructions
- Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat; add garlic.
- Sauté 1 minute or until tender; add green beans and 1 Tbsp water.
- Cover and steam 4 minutes or until tender.
- Combine green beans, kidney beans, vinegar, and salt and pepper to taste in a serving bowl.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
