Mini Caribbean Jerk Turkey Burgers

Ingredients

  • 1½ lb lean ground turkey
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1½ Tbsp Caribbean Jerk seasoning
  • ½ tsp garlic salt
  • 1 Tbsp avocado oil
  • Shredded lettuce (optional)
  • Jalapeño-Pineapple Salsa

Instructions

  1. Combine ground turkey, cilantro, jerk seasoning and garlic salt in a large bowl; mix just until blended.
  2. Shape turkey mixture into 8 small patties.
  3. Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Cook patties, in batches if necessary, 4 to 5 minutes per side or until centers are no longer pink.
  5. Serve patties on shredded lettuce, if desired; top with Jalapeño-Pineapple Salsa.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and minced
  • 3 cups diced pineapple
  • 2 limes, juiced
  • 1 cup chopped fresh cilantro

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl.
  2. Serve salsa on burgers.
