Mini Caribbean Jerk Turkey Burgers
Jalapeño-Pineapple Salsa
Ingredients
- 1½ lb lean ground turkey
- ¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1½ Tbsp Caribbean Jerk seasoning
- ½ tsp garlic salt
- 1 Tbsp avocado oil
- Shredded lettuce (optional)
- Jalapeño-Pineapple Salsa
Instructions
- Combine ground turkey, cilantro, jerk seasoning and garlic salt in a large bowl; mix just until blended.
- Shape turkey mixture into 8 small patties.
- Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook patties, in batches if necessary, 4 to 5 minutes per side or until centers are no longer pink.
- Serve patties on shredded lettuce, if desired; top with Jalapeño-Pineapple Salsa.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and minced
- 3 cups diced pineapple
- 2 limes, juiced
- 1 cup chopped fresh cilantro
Side Dish Instructions
- Mix all ingredients in a large bowl.
- Serve salsa on burgers.
