Ham and Cheese Hash Brown Waffles
Berries and Oranges
Ingredients
- 1 (30-oz) pkg frozen hash browns, thawed
- 1 (8-oz) pkg diced cooked ham
- 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 tsp garlic salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 3 large eggs, lightly beaten
Instructions
- Place hash browns between layers of paper towels; roll up, and squeeze liquid from potatoes.
- Place potatoes in a large bowl.
- Stir in ham, cheese, garlic salt and pepper.
- Add beaten eggs, stirring to combine.
- Preheat waffle iron according to manufacturer's directions.
- Spray both sides of iron with cooking spray.
- Spoon about 1 cup potato mixture onto waffle iron; close and cook 5 minutes or until browned and crisp.
- Repeat procedure with remaining potato mixture.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 2 cups strawberries, cut up
- 1 cup blueberries
- 1 (11-oz) can mandarin oranges, drained
Side Dish Instructions
- Toss together berries and oranges to serve.
