Hot Ham-and-Swiss Poppy Seed Sliders
Grape and Apple Salad
Ingredients
- 1 (12-oz) pkg Hawaiian sweet rolls
- 6 (0.67-oz) slices reduced-fat Swiss cheese
- ¾ lb thinly sliced low-sodium deli ham
- 4 Tbsp butter
- 1½ tsp Dijon mustard
- ½ tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp poppy seeds
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Cut rolls in half, and arrange bottom halves in a foil-lined 13- x 9-inch pan.
- Cut each cheese slice into quarters. Layer ham and cheese on bottom halves of rolls. Cover with roll tops.
- Melt butter in a saucepan. Remove from heat, and stir in mustard, Worcestershire sauce and poppy seeds. Brush over rolls.
- Bake 10 to 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and tops are golden brown.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 3 cups seedless red grapes
- 2 sweet, crisp apples, cored and chopped
- 2 tsp honey
- Juice of ½ lemon
Side Dish Instructions
- Cut grapes in half; toss with apples, honey and lemon juice.
