Hot Ham-and-Swiss Poppy Seed Sliders

Ingredients

  • 1 (12-oz) pkg Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 6 (0.67-oz) slices reduced-fat Swiss cheese
  • ¾ lb thinly sliced low-sodium deli ham
  • 4 Tbsp butter
  • 1½ tsp Dijon mustard
  • ½ tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp poppy seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Cut rolls in half, and arrange bottom halves in a foil-lined 13- x 9-inch pan.
  3. Cut each cheese slice into quarters. Layer ham and cheese on bottom halves of rolls. Cover with roll tops.
  4. Melt butter in a saucepan. Remove from heat, and stir in mustard, Worcestershire sauce and poppy seeds. Brush over rolls.
  5. Bake 10 to 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and tops are golden brown.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 3 cups seedless red grapes
  • 2 sweet, crisp apples, cored and chopped
  • 2 tsp honey
  • Juice of ½ lemon

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Cut grapes in half; toss with apples, honey and lemon juice.
