Easy Pizza Pinwheels

Steamed Vegetable Orzo Toss

Ingredients

  • 2 (8-oz) cans refrigerated crescent seamless roll dough
  • 1 (15-oz) can pizza sauce, divided
  • 1 (3.5-oz) pkg sliced pepperoni
  • 2 (8-oz) pkg shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Unroll crescent dough on a clean flat surface. Spread about ¼ cup sauce over each .
  3. Top with pepperoni slices and cheese; roll up dough, starting at one long side, jellyroll fashion.
  4. Cut into 2-inch slices and place on a greased baking sheet or in 2 (12-cup) muffin tins.
  5. Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Serve with remaining pizza sauce, for dipping.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 1 cup orzo pasta
  • 2 (12-oz) pkg steam-in-bag vegetable medley
  • 3 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt, ½ tsp pepper

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions.
  2. Microwave vegetables according to package directions.
  3. Stir in oil, garlic powder, salt and pepper; add orzo, toss.
