Barbecue Bacon Cheeseburgers

Ingredients

  • 6 slices bacon
  • ½ (16-oz) pkg frozen onion rings
  • ¾ lb ground beef
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ Tbsp Montreal steak seasoning
  • ¼ tsp garlic salt
  • 4 slices Colby Jack cheese
  • 2 English muffins, halved (or use pretzel buns)
  • ¼ cup barbecue sauce
  • ½ cup sliced dill pickles

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
  2. Meanwhile, cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crisp; drain on paper towels.
  3. Cook onion rings according to package directions.
  4. Mix ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, steak seasoning and garlic salt; shape mixture into 2 patties.
  5. Grill patties, covered with grill lid, 5 to 6 minutes per side or until no longer pink.
  6. Top each burger with 2 slices cheese; let stand 1 minute or until melted.
  7. Grill muffins, cut side down, 1 minute or until toasted.
  8. Spread barbecue sauce over bottom muffins.
  9. Top with pickles, burgers, bacon and onion rings; cover with muffin tops.
