Cheesy Beef and Tortellini Skillet

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • 1 (19-oz) pkg frozen cheese tortellini
  • 1 (28-oz) can crushed tomatoes
  • 2 tsp Italian herb blend
  • 1 (14.5-oz) can chicken broth
  • ¼ tsp garlic salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese, from a jar

Instructions

  1. Cook ground beef and onion in a large skillet over medium heat until browned and crumbly; drain and return to skillet.
  2. Add tortellini, tomatoes, herb blend, broth, garlic salt, and pepper.
  3. Bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat, and simmer 10 minutes or until pasta is tender. Sprinkle with cheese.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh green beans, ends trimmed
  • 3 Tbsp butter

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Place beans in a deep saucepan and cover with water.
  2. Bring to a boil and cook on high heat for 7 minutes (or until just crisp-tender) .
  3. Drain; add butter to melt and salt and pepper to taste.
