Grilled Steak Salad with Homemade Ranch

Ingredients
- 1½ lb top sirloin steak, trimmed
- 2 Tbsp Montreal steak seasoning
- 3 ears corn, husks and silks removed
- 1 (3-count) pkg romaine lettuce hearts, chopped
- 1 (12-oz) pkg sliced bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 pint grape tomatoes, halved
- ½ red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- ⅓ cup buttermilk
- 1 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley (or use 1 tsp dried)
- 1 tsp dried dilll (or use 1 Tbsp chopped fresh)
- 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
- ¼ tsp garlic salt
- ½ tsp pepper
Instructions
- Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
- Sprinkle steak with steak seasoning.
- Grill steak, covered with grill lid, 5 minutes per side or to desired doneness. Grill corn, covered with grill lid, 5 minutes per side or until tender.
- Let steak stand 10 minutes; cut into 1-inch pieces. Cool corn, and cut kernels from cobs.
- Toss together lettuce, bacon, tomatoes, onion, and corn in a large bowl.
- Whisk together mayonnaise, buttermilk, parsley, dill, lemon juice, garlic salt and pepper in a small bowl. Drizzle over salad; toss.
- Divide salad among serving plates; top with steak.
