Cheesy Manicotti with Beefy Sauce
Quick Caesar Salad
Ingredients
- 1 (8-oz) pkg manicotti shells
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (24-oz) jar pasta sauce
- 1 (12-count) pkg mozzarella string cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Cook pasta according to package directions; drain.
- Meanwhile, cook ground beef, onion, and garlic in a large skillet over medium heat until beef is browned and crumbly; drain and return to skillet.
- Stir in pasta sauce.
- Spoon half of meat mixture into a greased 13- x 9-inch baking dish.
- Stuff 1 string cheese into each cooked manicotti shell; arrange in a single layer over meat sauce.
- Pour remaining meat sauce over pasta; sprinkle with cheese.
- Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
