French Silk Brownie Pie

Ingredients
- ½ (14.1-oz) pkg refrigerated pie crusts
- 1 (19-oz) pkg dark chocolate brownie mix
- 1 (8-oz) block cream cheese, softened
- 1 (4-oz) bar bittersweet chocolate, melted and cooled slightly
- 2 (8-oz) cartons frozen whipped topping, thawed
- Garnish: grated chocolate (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Unroll pie crust, and fit in bottom and up sides of a 9-inch pie plate; set aside.
- Prepare brownie mix according to package directions; pour into crust.
- Bake 20 minutes or until brownies are done; cool completely.
- Beat cream cheese at medium speed with a mixer until creamy; gradually beat in melted chocolate.
- Gently stir in 1 carton whipped topping.
- Spoon mixture over brownies; cover and chill 4 hours.
- Spread remaining whipped topping over chocolate layer; garnish with grated chocolate, if desired.
- Makes 10 servings.
