Long Boy Burgers
Parmesan-Black Pepper Waffle Fries and Carrot SticksIngredients
- 3 sub rolls, split lengthwise
- 1¼ lb ground beef
- 1 cup crushed crispy fried onions
- 6 Tbsp ketchup, divided
- 2 Tbsp Dijon mustard, divided
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
- 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Place sub rolls on a baking sheet, cut side up. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until very crisp and toasted.
- Stir together ground beef, 1 cup fried onions, 3 Tbsp ketchup, 1 Tbsp mustard, Worcestershire and beaten egg.
- Spoon mixture over cut sides of toasted rolls, pressing down gently and covering surface of rolls.
- Stir together 3 Tbsp ketchup and 1 Tbsp mustard; brush over meat mixture.
- Bake 20 minutes or until meat is no longer pink.
- Sprinkle with cheese; bake 3 minutes longer or until melted.
- Sprinkle with more fried onions.
- Let stand 5 minutes.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 1 (24-oz) pkg frozen waffle fries
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp pepper
- 6 carrots, cut into sticks
- ½ cup Ranch dressing
Side Dish Instructions
- Bake fries according to package directions. Sprinkle with cheese and pepper.
- Bake 3 minutes longer. Serve with ketchup, if desired.
- Serve carrots with Ranch dressing.
