All Day Country Steak and Gravy

Rosemary Rice, Steamed Peas and Garlic Toasts

Ingredients

  • 1 lb London broil steak
  • 1 (12-oz) jar prepared beef gravy
  • 2 Tbsp tomato paste
  • ½ tsp garlic salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper

Instructions

  1. Cut steak into 2-inch pieces and place in a 4-quart slow cooker.
  2. Stir together gravy, tomato paste, garlic salt, and pepper; pour over steak.
  3. Cover, and cook on LOW 8 to 10 hours or until beef is tender.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • ¾ cup long-grain rice
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • ¼ cup chopped sweet onion
  • 1 Tbsp chopped fresh rosemary
  • 1 (12-oz) pkg frozen peas
  • 2 to 3 slices frozen garlic toasts

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Cook rice according to package directions.
  2. Melt butter in a small skillet over medium heat; add onion and rosemary. Cook, 5 to 6 minutes or until onion is tender.
  3. Add to rice; toss and season to taste.
  4. Steam peas according to package directions; season to taste.
  5. Prepare toasts according to package directions.
