All Day Country Steak and Gravy
Rosemary Rice, Steamed Peas and Garlic Toasts
Ingredients
- 1 lb London broil steak
- 1 (12-oz) jar prepared beef gravy
- 2 Tbsp tomato paste
- ½ tsp garlic salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
Instructions
- Cut steak into 2-inch pieces and place in a 4-quart slow cooker.
- Stir together gravy, tomato paste, garlic salt, and pepper; pour over steak.
- Cover, and cook on LOW 8 to 10 hours or until beef is tender.
Side Dish Ingredients
- ¾ cup long-grain rice
- 1 Tbsp butter
- ¼ cup chopped sweet onion
- 1 Tbsp chopped fresh rosemary
- 1 (12-oz) pkg frozen peas
- 2 to 3 slices frozen garlic toasts
Side Dish Instructions
- Cook rice according to package directions.
- Melt butter in a small skillet over medium heat; add onion and rosemary. Cook, 5 to 6 minutes or until onion is tender.
- Add to rice; toss and season to taste.
- Steam peas according to package directions; season to taste.
- Prepare toasts according to package directions.
