Meatballs in Mushroom Gravy
Bow-Tie Pasta and Steamed Asparagus
Ingredients
- 1 (20-oz) pkg frozen beef meatballs
- 3 Tbsp butter
- 1 (8-oz) pkg sliced mushrooms
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 Tbsp all-purpose flour
- 3 cups beef broth
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Cook meatballs according to package directions; set aside.
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat; add mushrooms, onion and garlic. Cook, stirring, 8 minutes or until tender.
- Add flour; cook, stirring constantly, 2 minutes.
- Gradually stir in broth and Worcestershire sauce.
- Add meatballs to skillet, and cook, stirring occasionally until gravy is thickened.
- Serve over pasta.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 1 (12-oz) pkg bow-tie pasta
- 1 lb asparagus, trimmed
- ¼ cup water
Side Dish Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions.
- Place asparagus in a microwave-safe dish; add water. Cover, and microwave on HIGH 3 to 4 minutes or until crisp-tender.
- Drain, and season to taste.
