Ground Beef Stroganoff

Buttery Egg Noodles and Steamed Green Beans

Ingredients

  • ½ lb ground beef
  • ½ (8-oz) pkg sliced mushrooms
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • ¾ cup beef broth
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Cook ground beef, mushrooms, onion and garlic in a nonstick skillet over medium heat, stirring until beef is browned and crumbly.
  2. Stir in flour, salt and pepper.
  3. Cook, stirring constantly, 2 minutes.
  4. Stir in broth and Worcestershire sauce; cook, stirring occasionally, 10 minutes or until thickened.
  5. Stir in sour cream; cook 2 minutes.
  6. Serve over egg noodles.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • ½ (12-oz) pkg wide egg noodles
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • ½ (12-oz) pkg frozen green beans

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Cook egg noodles according to package directions; stir in butter.
  2. Steam green beans according to package directions; season to taste.
