5-Ingredient Beef and Bean Soup
Grilled Cheese SandwichesIngredients
- ½ lb ground beef
- 1 (14.5-oz) can beef broth
- 1 (15-oz) can great Northern beans, rinsed and drained
- ½ (25-oz) can garlic and herb pasta sauce
- ½ (10-oz) pkg angel hair coleslaw mix
Instructions
- Cook ground beef in a Dutch oven over medium heat stirring until browned and crumbly; drain.
- Stir in broth, beans, pasta sauce and coleslaw; bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer 15 minutes.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp butter, softened
- 4 slices whole wheat bread
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
Side Dish Instructions
- Spread butter on 1 side of each bread slice.
- Place 2 slices bread, buttered side down, in a nonstick skillet over medium heat.
- Top each with cheese and 1 slice bread, buttered side up.
- Cook 3 to 4 minutes per side or until bread is toasted and cheese is melted.
