Chicken Finger Mummies

Clock

Ingredients

  • 1½ lb chicken tenderloins
  • 2 Tbsp butter, melted
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 (8-oz) can refrigerated crescent dough sheet
  • ½ cup freshly shredded Parmesan cheese (or grated Parmesan)
  • Candy eyeballs

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Toss together chicken, melted butter, Italian seasoning and salt; spread in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  3. Bake 15 minutes; let cool 15 minutes.
  4. Unroll crescent dough sheet on a lightly floured surface.
  5. Using a pizza wheel, cut dough lengthwise into ⅛-to ¼-inch-thick strips. Cut each strip into thirds.
  6. Wrap strips around each chicken tenderloin to resemble "mummy bandages," leaving a space at the top for eyes.
  7. Return wrapped chicken to pan; sprinkle with cheese.
  8. Bake 15 minutes or until golden brown. Arrange candy eyeballs in between "bandages.".
