Lattice-Top Hot Dog Pizza

Ingredients

  • 1 (11-oz) can refrigerated thin-crust pizza dough
  • 2 Tbsp favorite mustard
  • 6 bun-length hot dogs
  • 1 Tbsp butter, melted
  • ½ cup freshly shredded Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Unroll pizza dough on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Roll into a 16- x 12-inch rectangle. Cut dough in half lengthwise.
  4. Place 1 dough rectangle on a parchment-lined baking sheet; brush with mustard.
  5. Cut remaining dough lengthwise into 1-inch-thick strips.
  6. Arrange hot dogs about 1½ inches apart over mustard.
  7. Weave dough strips over and under hot dogs to create a lattice top (or checkerboard pattern).
  8. Trim any excess dough to make an even rectangle.
  9. Brush with melted butter; sprinkle with cheese.
  10. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  11. Cut into big squares to serve; serve with ketchup, mustard or Ranch dressing for dipping.
  12. Wrap and refrigerate remaining pizza to pack in lunch boxes.
