"Walking" Tacos

Ingredients

  • 1½ lb ground beef
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • 1 (1-oz) pkg taco seasoning mix
  • ¼ cup water
  • 6 to 8 individual size bags nacho cheese doritos
  • 1 (8-oz) bag shredded lettuce
  • 1 (8-oz) pkg shredded taco-blend cheese
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 1 (8-oz) carton sour cream

Instructions

  1. Cook ground beef and onion in a large skillet over medium heat until beef is browned and crumbly; drain and return to skillet.
  2. Stir in taco seasoning mix and water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer until liquid is absorbed.
  3. Place each bag of chips on its side in a shallow bowl. Cut bags open from the side; gently break up chips into bite-sized pieces.
  4. Top chips with beef mixture, lettuce, cheese, tomatoes and sour cream.

  • 2 (8.8-oz) pouches Spanish ready rice

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Heat rice according to package directions.
