Maple-Glazed Breakfast Pork Chops
Microwave-Baked Apples
Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp avocado oil
- 4 (6-oz) center-cut loin pork chops
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- 1 Tbsp pure maple syrup
- 1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
- 2 green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Sprinkle pork chops with salt and pepper.
- Combine maple syrup and mustard in a small bowl. Brush syrup mixture over both sides of pork.
- Cook pork chops 3 to 5 minutes per side or until done. Sprinkle with green onions.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 4 apples, cut into wedges
- 2 Tbsp pure maple syrup
- ½ tsp apple pie spice
- 1 Tbsp ghee, cut into small pieces
Side Dish Instructions
- Place apples in an 8- x 8-inch baking dish.
- Combine maple syrup and apple pie spice; drizzle over apples. Top with ghee.
- Cover with plastic wrap, and microwave at HIGH 3½ to 4 minutes or until apples are tender; toss.
