Buttery Rum Sauce

Ingredients

  • ½ cup light rum
  • ½ cup packed brown sugar
  • ½ cup  (1 stick) butter

Instructions

  1. Combine rum and brown sugar in a small saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat; reduce heat, and simmer, stirring until sugar dissolves.
  3. Add butter, stirring until melted; simmer 2 to 3 minutes or until sauce slightly thickens.
