Slow Cooker Honey Barbecue Chicken Sandwiches

Ingredients

  • 1 (18-oz) bottle barbecue sauce
  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 3¾ lb skinless, bone-in chicken breasts
  • 6 hamburger buns

Instructions

  1. Whisk together barbecue sauce, vinegar and honey in a 5- or 6-quart slow cooker coated with cooking spray.
  2. Add chicken, and stir to coat.
  3. Cover and cook on LOW 6 hours or until chicken is tender.
  4. Remove chicken from cooker; shred chicken, discarding bones.
  5. Return chicken to sauce.
  6. Serve chicken and sauce on buns with Creamy Slaw.

Side Dish Ingredients

  • ½ cup mayonnaise 
  • 3 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1 (16-oz) pkg tricolor coleslaw mix
  • 1 (20-oz) pkg refrigerated new potato wedges

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Whisk together mayonnaise, vinegar, honey, salt and pepper in a large bowl.
  2. Add slaw; toss to coat.
  3. Cover and chill until ready to serve.
  4. Cook new potatoes according to package directions.
