Chicken and Waffle Sandwiches

Ingredients

  • 3 slices center-cut bacon, cut in half crosswise
  • 2 Tbsp whole-grain mustard
  • 2 Tbsp maple syrup
  • 4 frozen multigrain waffles, toasted
  • 2 (0.6-oz) slices reduced-fat Swiss cheese
  • 2 to 3 Bibb lettuce leaves
  • 1 small tomato, thinly sliced
  • 4 oz thin deli-sliced oven-roasted chicken

Instructions

  1. Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crisp; drain on paper towels.
  2. Stir together mustard and syrup in a bowl; drizzle over one side of each waffle.
  3. Top half of waffles with cheese, lettuce, tomato, chicken and bacon. Cover with remaining waffles, mustard sides down.
