Chicken and Waffle Sandwiches
Fresh Apple SlicesIngredients
- 3 slices center-cut bacon, cut in half crosswise
- 2 Tbsp whole-grain mustard
- 2 Tbsp maple syrup
- 4 frozen multigrain waffles, toasted
- 2 (0.6-oz) slices reduced-fat Swiss cheese
- 2 to 3 Bibb lettuce leaves
- 1 small tomato, thinly sliced
- 4 oz thin deli-sliced oven-roasted chicken
Instructions
- Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until crisp; drain on paper towels.
- Stir together mustard and syrup in a bowl; drizzle over one side of each waffle.
- Top half of waffles with cheese, lettuce, tomato, chicken and bacon. Cover with remaining waffles, mustard sides down.
