Oven-Fried Corn Flakes Chicken
Kids’ Favorite Green Beans and Scalloped PotatoesIngredients
- 1 large egg
- 2 Tbsp milk
- 2 cups crushed corn flakes cereal
- 2 tsp dried basil
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
- 1½ lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 2-inch strips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Whisk together egg and milk in a shallow dish.
- Stir together crushed corn flakes, basil, salt, and pepper in a separate shallow dish.
- Dip chicken in egg mixture, and then in cereal to coat.
- Place on a lightly greased rimmed baking sheet.
- Bake 15 minutes or until done.

- 2 (14.5-oz) cans cut green beans, rinsed and drained
- ½ cup packed brown sugar
- 4 Tbsp butter, melted
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- 5 slices bacon
- 2 (4.7-oz) boxes scalloped potatoes
Side Dish Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Arrange green beans in a baking dish.
- Combine brown sugar, butter and garlic powder; pour over beans and place bacon on top.
- Bake 25 minutes or until bacon is crisp.
- Cook potatoes according to package directions.
