Peanut Butter-Chocolate Crispy Rice Treats

Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp butter
  • ¼ cup all natural peanut butter
  • 1 (10-oz) bag mini marshmallows
  • 6 cups crisp rice cereal
  • 2 oz semi sweet chocolate, chopped

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium-low heat. Add peanut butter to saucepan.
  2. Cook for 1 minute or until melted, stirring frequently. Add marshmallows, cook and stir over low heat until marshmallows melt.
  3. Remove from heat; gradually stir in cereal until coated.
  4. Spread in an even layer in a 8-inch square pan sprayed with cooking spray. Sprinkle chocolate over top of rice treats.
  5. Cool completely, cut into squares to serve.
