Espresso-Dark Chocolate Fondue

Ingredients

  • 1¼ cups heavy cream
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 1 Tbsp instant espresso powder
  • 3 (4-oz) bars bittersweet chocolate, chopped
  • Assorted Dippers: cubed angel food cake or pound cake, fresh berries, cubed melon, assorted sandwich cookies, graham crackers and chocolate chip cookies

Instructions

  1. Combine cream, butter and espresso powder in a medium saucepan.
  2. Heat over medium-low heat until butter melts and bubbles form around edge of pan.
  3. Add chocolate; cook, stirring constantly until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth.
  4. Keep warm over very low heat (see Note).
  5. Serve with assorted dippers of choice.
