Creamy Chicken Stroganoff

Ingredients

  • 1½ lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 (8-oz) pkg sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 (10-oz) cans cream of mushroom soup
  • ⅓ cup water
  • 1 (16-oz) pkg wide egg noodles
  • 1 (8-oz) carton sour cream

Instructions

  1. Place chicken, mushrooms, onion and garlic in a 5- to 7-quart slow cooker.
  2. Stir together soup and water; pour over chicken.
  3. Cook on LOW 7 to 8 hours or until chicken is tender.
  4. Cook pasta according to package directions.
  5. Stir sour cream into chicken mixture just before serving.
  6. Serve over egg noodles.

  • 2 (12-oz) pkg frozen steam-in-bag broccoli florets

  1. Steam broccoli according to package directions; season to taste.
