Sweet Potato Waffle Fries

Ingredients

  • ¾ lb lean ground beef
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • ¼ cup store-bought pimiento cheese
  • 2 whole-grain hamburger buns, split
  • 2 lettuce leaves
  • 1 Roma tomato, sliced
  • ½ small red onion, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. Shape ground beef into 2 patties; sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat a cast-iron skillet or grill pan over medium heat; sprinkle patties with salt and pepper.
  3. Cook 4 minutes per side or until no longer pink.
  4. Top each patty with pimiento cheese; cover skillet, and cook 1 minute or until melted.
  5. Top bottom halves of buns with lettuce, tomato, onion and patties. Cover with bun tops.

  • ½ (20-oz) pkg frozen sweet potato waffle fries

Side Dish Instructions

  1. Bake waffle fries according to package directions.
