Greek Turkey Patties with Yogurt Sauce
Herb Toasted Pita Wedges and Chilled Grapes
Ingredients
- ½ lb 93% lean ground turkey
- ¼ cup panko breadcrumbs
- ¼ cup crumbled reduced-fat feta cheese
- 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and finely chopped
- 1 egg white
- ½ tsp dried oregano
- ¼ cup fat-free plain Greek yogurt
- 2 Tbsp finely chopped cucumber
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- ⅛ tsp salt
- 1 small clove garlic, minced
- 2 romaine lettuce leaves
Instructions
- Combine turkey, breadcrumbs, cheese, jalapeño, egg white, and oregano; mix with hands until combined. Shape into 2 patties.
- Cook patties in a skillet coated with cooking spray over medium-high heat 5 to 7 minutes per side until browned and centers are no longer pink.
- Stir together yogurt, cucumber, lemon juice, salt, and garlic.
- Serve patties on lettuce with sauce.

- 1 (2-oz) whole wheat pita bread round
- 1½ tsp extra virgin olive oil
- ¼ tsp dried rosemary, crushed
- ⅛ tsp salt
- ⅛ tsp pepper
- 2 cups chilled seedless grapes
Side Dish Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F. Separate pita in half horizontally to make 2 rounds; cut into wedges.
- Place wedges, rough sides up, in a single layer on a baking sheet coated with cooking spray.
- Brush with oil; sprinkle with rosemary, salt, and pepper.
- Bake 8 minutes or until lightly toasted.
- Serve with grapes.
