Inside-Out Lasagna
Toasted Garlic BreadIngredients
- 1 (16-oz) pkg rotini pasta
- 1 lb ground Italian sausage
- 1 (8-oz) pkg sliced mushrooms
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ tsp crushed red pepper
- 1 (28-oz) can diced tomatoes with Italian seasonings
- 1 (10-oz) pkg spinach
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions; drain and keep warm.
- Meanwhile, cook sausage, mushrooms, onion, garlic and crushed red pepper in a large skillet over medium heat until sausage is browned and crumbly.
- Stir in tomatoes; bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer 5 minutes.
- Gradually stir in spinach until wilted. Add pasta; toss. Divide among serving dishes.
- Top each serving with ricotta.

- ¼ cup butter, softened
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (16-oz) loaf French bread, split lengthwise
Side Dish Instructions
- Preheat broiler. Stir together butter and garlic; spread over cut sides of bread.
- Broil 2 minutes or until lightly toasted.
