Sweet-and-Salty Honey-Glazed Shrimp
Broccoli-Peanut Soba Noodles
Ingredients
- ¼ cup honey
- ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp bottled minced garlic
- 1½ tsp refrigerated minced ginger
- 2 lb peeled and deveined, wild-caught large raw shrimp
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 Tbsp toasted sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Combine honey, soy sauce, garlic and ginger. Place shrimp in a large zip-top plastic bag; add half of honey mixture. Let stand 15 minutes; discard marinade.
- Cook shrimp in hot oil in a large skillet over medium heat 2 minutes per side. Pour remaining half of honey mixture over shrimp; cook 1 minute or until shrimp turn pink. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Serve over soba noodles.
Side Dish Ingredients
- 8 oz soba noodles
- 1 (12-oz) pkg broccoli slaw
- ½ cup Thai peanut sauce (such as Annie Chun's)
- ⅓ cup roasted, salted peanuts
Side Dish Instructions
- Cook noodles according to package directions, adding slaw during last 1 minute of cooking; drain. Toss with peanut sauce; sprinkle with peanuts.
